Events

The Book of Venus publishing is a sponsor for the Nebula’s Diamond Year Conference weekend June 5th through 8th. The Nebula Awards ceremony will be broadcast on You Tube. This event celebrates the best of science fiction and fantasy writing today! Tune in and if you are a published author in the science fiction and fantasy genres, consider becoming a member.

Updates! In August, Evie Able will be at Enchanticon sitting on a panel to discuss, of course, multicultural fantasy. Evie will also again be a visiting author at the Page After Page bookshop on the Maryland Rennaisance Festival grounds. Venus and Evie will be at the City of College Park‘s Spring Street Fair at Davis Hall on Sunday, May 18th. They will be hosting coloring sessions of the Bad Little Fairy books and giving out gifts to bright children. Come out and discover the talents of the greatest city in the country! We’re not biased~

Page After Page visiting author at the Maryland Renn Fest, August 23rd. We will be at the Page After Page bookshop on the Maryland Rennaisance Festival grounds on opening day. Head straight back and hook a right towards the end of the grounds or just ask any castmember where the Page After Page bookstore is. The owners are great people. Come out and support local independent bookstores and find your gem fantasy books!

Venus is going on a book tour! May 13th through June 3rd, Venus will be taking a virtual book/blog tour. Follow on the contact page to see where Venus will show up next. Enchanticon panel participant August 15th -17th in St.  Louis, MO. We are working to sit on a panel around fantasy and multiculturalism in storytelling. More information coming soon!
